I'm originally from the southwest. I work as a Freelance Writer/Editor, and Creative Writing Teacher in NYC. My feature articles, film, and dance reviews have appeared online and in print magazines. I'm the founder, workshop leader, and a participant in Morningside Writers Group (Fiction, Memoir and Screenplay). I'm in the process of revising two feature-length screenplays, building a short story collection, and a family memoir. When I'm not writing, editing, or teaching, I read mysteries, biographies, and suspense/thrillers. My favorite novelists are Gabriel García Márquez, James Baldwin, Edward P. Jones, Ann Tyler, Ha Jin and Joyce Carol Oates.
